Assassin's Creed Introduces Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret sect.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
